Friday we had our last day of class in Bordeaux. Which consisted of everyone giving a personal reflection on their experiences in France and a debriefing on the aerospace industry. Afterward we were given the afternoon off to shop and explore the city one last time. In the evening we all got together for a group dinner and thanked Mathais (our BEM host) and his family.
Today Kevin and I wandered around Bordeaux a while after lunch. We ran into live acoustic music, public improv threatre in one of the squares and break-dancing by the Cathedral. Tonight is our farewell dinner and at midnight tomorrow we leave for Nice.

It sounds like you have had a great experience (Sleeping in cardboard in the sand, Tom would of liked that) and look forward to following your adventures back home. Unfortunately, I will not be able to follow your adventures while I am in Bolivia with your brothers on our mission trip, we leave 5.24 and return 6.5.
Please be smart and stay safe.
Love,
Dad.
